Daisuke Karaoke

Daisuke is a karaoke with private booths (Japanese style), located in Monterrey, Mexico. A space that allows you to completely disconnect from the outside world, that makes you forget the stress and routine and even allows you to “travel” to another part of the world without leaving the city.

We firmly believe that music is something that heals. Being able to sing “as if no one was watching” is a form of catharsis. Now more than ever, when our stress levels are so high and our focus is so blurred, this project is so relevant. That’s why we decided to team up with Daisuke’s partners and start this project completely from scratch, when it still had no name and was just a wish.

We paid special attention to the experience, and we took care of every detail. We were inspired by Japanese culture for its tradition of karaoke and wanted to replicate the “wow” effect that happens if you are lucky enough to visit Tokyo (coming from America* or Europe) for the first time. For us Westerners, everything in Japan is a memorable experience, from the food, the rituals, the greetings, the order and the silence… to the technology of their ” toilets from the future “.

*America is a continent 😛

The name comes from Inoue Daisuke, the true inventor of Karaoke, who in 1971 created a machine that played recordings of his songs without his voice, so that others could sing them at gatherings and celebrations… he never got the patent 🙁

We love music, we love karaoke and we love Japan… it was to be expected that we would get involved in a project like this.
